Braxat Racial Traits

  • Strength +10, Dexterity +2, Constitution +10, Intelligence +4, Wisdom +2
  • Large: As Large creatures, Braxat have a -1 size penalty to attack and a -1 size penalty to AC. Large creatures have a +4 to the following special combat maneuver opposed rolls: bull rush (ability check), disarm (opposed attack roll), grapple (all grapple checks), overrun, sunder (opposed attack roll), and trip (ability check).
  • Monstrous Humanoid: As monstrous humanoids, Braxats are proficient with all simple weapons, but they have no proficiency with any armor or shield.
  • Braxats' base land speed is 40 ft. They have a fly speed of 90ft. with good maneuverability.
  • Darkvision: Braxats can see in the dark out to 60 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but it is otherwise like normal sight, and Braxats can function just fine with no light at all.
  • Racial Hit Dice: A Braxat begins with ten levels of monstrous humanoid, which provides 10d8 Hit Dice, a base attack bonus of +10/+5 (Natural Weapons do not allow iterative attacks), and base saving throw bonuses of Fort +3, Ref +7, and Will +7
  • Racial Skills: A Braxat's monstrous humanoid levels give her skill points equal to 13 x (2 + Int modifier). A Braxat's class skills are Intimidate, Jump, Listen, Spot, Survival.
  • Natural Attack: A Braxat has a horn it can user for a gore attack dealing 1d8 damage.
  • Breath Weapon (Su): A Braxat can breathe a 30-foot cone of cold for 3d8 points of cold damage (Reflex save DC 10 + ½ Racial Hit Dice + Con modifier for half). Once it has used its breath weapon it must wait 1d4 rounds before it can do so again.
  • Mind Blast (Ps): This mind-numbing blast extends from the Braxat in a 30-foot cone. Anyone caught in the area must succeed at a Will save (DC DC 10 + ½ Racial Hit Dice + Cha modifier) or be stunned for 3d4 rounds.
  • Psi-Like Abilities (Ps): At willDimension Door, Psionic, Empty Mind, Mind Blank, Psionic, Mind Thrust, Thought Shield. Manifester level 8th; save DC 10 + power level + Cha modifier.
  • Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): At willBlink; 1/day—Confusion, Feeblemind. Caster level 8th; save DC 10 + spell level + Cha modifier.
  • Stormwing (Su): As a full-round action, a soldier in flight can hover and deliver a destructive sonic attack with its wings. The attack deals 6d6 points of damage to all (except other Abeils) within a 40-foot burst (Reflex Save DC 10 + ½ Racial HD + Con modifier for half damage). Once the soldier uses this ability, it must wait 1d4 rounds before using it again.
